Bismarck, ND — Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak (R-ND) spent this week connecting with North Dakotans across the state and addressing key issues in areas such as education, infrastructure, and economic growth. From celebrating achievements to discussing local priorities, her meetings focused on building strong partnerships to support North Dakota’s future. Check out these photos recapping her visits:
Fedorchak joined the Milken Family Foundation in congratulating Northern Cass Elementary teacher Jessica Stoen—the latest recipient of the Milken Educator Award. She praised the role of North Dakota’s teachers in shaping the next generation of leaders and innovators.

In her meeting with Arthur Mayor Greg Nelson and City Council members, officials shared insights on addressing the unique challenges and opportunities facing North Dakota’s small-town communities. Mayor Nelson is an entrepreneur himself and shared samples of his farm’s aronia berry products, and plans for growing, processing and marketing the tasty juice with amazing health benefits. Fedorchak sat down with Horace Mayor Jeff Trudeau and City Administrator Brenton Holper to discuss housing, infrastructure, workforce, and education challenges of North Dakota’s fastest-growing community.

North Dakota State University’s (NDSU) Saddle and Sirloin Club hosted their 99th Little International, where Fedorchak joined in celebrating Dr. Gerald Stokka as this year’s Agriculturalist of the Year. She praised the club’s role in the field of animal husbandry and its impact on North Dakota’s agricultural industry.

Fedorchak met with Medora Mayor Derwin Zuroff to talk about anticipated infrastructure challenges and economic opportunities with the development of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.

On Presidents’ Day, Rep. Fedorchak visited the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library site to assess the historic project’s progress. We’re looking forward to the grand opening on July 4, 2026—our nation’s 250th birthday!

Dickinson Mayor Scott Decker emphasized the need for strategic investments to support the city's growth, improve public safety, and address workforce shortages. Additionally, he highlighted opportunities to leverage state and federal resources for key projects and stressed the importance of strong partnerships between local, state, and federal agencies on border security and public safety.

Fedorchak and Bismarck Mayor Mike Schmitz discussed the capital city’s priorities, including infrastructure, housing, law enforcement, and flood control.
Fedorchak met with Senate and House leadership to discuss the ongoing legislative session in North Dakota, addressing challenges and opportunities related to federal funding, infrastructure, and other key issues.

In her address to the North Dakota House and Senate, Fedorchak underscored the need for more Dakota common sense in Washington, D.C. She highlighted her vision for energy security, regulatory reform, and fiscal accountability and challenged North Dakota to lead the nation in powering the future of AI.

The North Dakota Petroleum Council (NDPC) hosted Fedorchak for a roundtable discussion on regulatory issues and the future of oil and gas production in the state. The conversation outlined emerging opportunities, including the role of AI and data centers in North Dakota’s energy landscape.


In Fargo, she met with NDSU President David Cook while touring the new Peltier Complex and Dr. Webster's Polymers and Coatings lab. University leaders shared NDSU’s ongoing research and contributions to innovation in higher education.
Fedorchak spoke during the Midwest Economic Outlook Summit social, hosted by the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo Chamber, where she outlined her priorities and discussed the federal budget. She highlighted the excitement surrounding economic growth in the Midwest, particularly in North Dakota. She also addressed key policy initiatives aimed at regulatory and tax reform to foster business development, strengthening workforce opportunities, and energy policy improvements to fuel North Dakota’s competitiveness in the national and global economy.
