“This memorial center will give family members of our loyal veterans a comfortable place to celebrate their loved one’s life and put them to rest,” Fedorchak said. “Giving our veterans a dignified final resting place that celebrates their contributions to this country is an important part of honoring our commitment to them.”

The Fargo National Cemetery is a federally owned and operated national cemetery under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Cemetery Administration. It is the first and only federal national cemetery in North Dakota. The new Veterans Memorial Center will add the indoor space the cemetery has long lacked. These improvements reflect a community-driven effort to give veterans and their families the dignity and support they deserve.
