Fedorchak condemns attacks on Minnesota lawmakers, denounces political violence in all forms

Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak (R-ND) released the following statement after she voted in favor of H. Res. 519, a resolution condemning the recent attacks targeting Minnesota lawmakers in Brooklyn Park and Champlin, MN. The resolution, which passed the House unanimously, calls for unity and the rejection of political violence across the United States.  

“There is absolutely no place for political violence in this country. My prayers go out to the victims and their families whose lives were forever changed by a depraved attacker. This resolution is not just about condemning violence—it’s about calling all Americans to do better. We must do a better job of listening to one another—rather than speaking at each other—and coming together around shared values.”
