Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak stands for life

January 27, 2025

Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak (R-ND) reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to defending life and supporting mothers and children at every stage last week, working alongside her colleagues to champion policies that uphold the inherent dignity of every human being. Fedorchak also joined various pro-life events on Friday, including visiting with more than 300 students from North Dakota.

“Every child deserves the chance to live and thrive, and every mother deserves compassion and support,” Fedorchak said. “House Republicans demonstrated our dedication to protecting life by passing the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which ensures that infants who survive abortion procedures receive the medical care they need and deserve.”

The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, led by Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO), also reaffirms the sanctity of life by ensuring these children are treated as patients and not discarded. “This commonsense legislation should have received bipartisan, unanimous support,” Fedorchak added. “This is about respecting the most fundamental right, without which there are no other rights, and that’s the right to life.”

As thousands of pro-life advocates gather in Washington, D.C., for the annual March for Life, Fedorchak expressed her admiration for their dedication.

“This is the pro-life generation! You understand the science and the principles behind the pro-life movement. You inspire and encourage me because you will lead our country in building a lasting culture of life,” Fedorchak stated. “Thank you for traveling from across the country to stand for life in our nation’s capital. Your passion and commitment are a reminder that every life matters, and together, we can build a culture that values life at all stages.”

House Republicans remain steadfast in their efforts to promote a pro-life agenda that not only protects the unborn but also supports mothers and children through commonsense policies.

“Our pro-life values extend to real solutions that empower mothers, strengthen families, and provide care for vulnerable children. We are committed to advancing a culture of life by promoting adoption, improving maternal healthcare, and ensuring access to resources for families in need,” Fedorchak concluded.
