Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak applauds President Trump’s commitment to American prosperity and security on day one
Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak (R-ND) attended the historic inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda today. She applauded the decisive action he has outlined for his first day in office, including executive orders aimed at securing the southern border, unleashing American energy production, and making America affordable again.
“Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for our great nation—America's Golden Era, as President Trump said,” Fedorchak stated. “President Trump is already delivering on his promises. His swift actions prioritize the safety, prosperity, and independence of the American people. By taking bold steps to secure our border, unleash American energy, and lay the groundwork for economic recovery, President Trump is putting America first in every sense of the word.”
President Trump’s actions include ending the Biden administration’s catch-and-release policies, reinstating Remain in Mexico, building the wall, ending asylum for illegal border crossers, cracking down on criminal sanctuaries, and enhancing vetting and screening of aliens.
“I'm especially encouraged that President Trump is declaring a national energy emergency. Fixing our energy policy and focusing on reliability, affordability and sustainability is an urgent need. And energy producers in North Dakota are ready to lead the way in fueling our nation’s future,” Fedorchak continued.
President Trump is committed to unleashing American energy by ending the Biden administration’s rush-to-green energy policies, streamlining permitting, and reviewing for rescission all regulations that impose undue burdens on energy production and use.
